It was very entertaining how the story went up and told you:
–This is a dream.
–You're inside the dream.
–The protagonist and the heroines then “woke up”.
–But wait, that is also a dream!
Funny thing is that even though everything went back to normal with you waking up, you always thought you're back in reality because there's no more creepy places and creepy things, but then again, that reality is still a dream. XD
They only and truly woke up by the end of Alice’s Route(True Route). So it’s revealed to you that everything is also a dream! And that they have been stuck in a dream loop ever since the start of the story.
It's similar to a Time Loop in concept as in reality, the entire length of the story only lasted in one single night.
“That's how long the Lucid Dream is. It was just one really, really long dream”

Dream World |
Though, at the end of all Heroine routes(excluding Alice and Maia's route) they technically “Woke Up” for real, I'm not sure how to explain that, I supposed I'll leave it to your imagination as to what happened. I'm going to omit a lot of things. But in the story, they basically don't know themselves. Though it's said that you can call it parallel worlds. Parallel World Theory sounds about right, so let's just leave it at that.
The Heroine Routes were really all entertaining in their own ways. I personally think it's because of Maia's Antagonism. The story is never boring when Maia is around. So, omitting some parts again, we then arrive at 2 Unlockable Routes, Maia and Alice's Route. Alice's Route is the most Canonical especially since she's the “True” heroine of the story. Except that her route is relatively complicated.
Maia's route was also very confusing. Because it was lately revealed that she's the dead sister of Tooru >.> So her route is just a WHAT IF scenario. I know it can't be helped because Maia is already DEEEEAD in reality, but come on... the antagonist heroine in the story and she gets a “Route” that amounts to about 20 minutes of reading, just WTF? I don't care even if it's a retroactive continuity, just give me a proper Maia route YOU BASTARDS!
Anyway, Maia’s Route can be Summed up in 2 Words:
BAD END
Moving to the True Route as well as the True Heroine, Alice. I'm going to omit some parts again lol.
After numerous RomCom and H-Scenes Events in Alice's Route. It's finally revealed that the True Owner of the Dream is a Sickly Girl, who Tooru met during his Childhood when he was hospitalized during the Maia incident, she's technically his classmate but basically never shows up because she's busy being hospitalized.

(This kind of short hair girl... got my like)
「That just shows how much of a huge closet pervert you are」 (I don't think that's how it work..)
|
Confused? Don't worry, it's not just you. And that's fine and all, but here's the thing: She's not Alice. Okay, she is Alice in a sense. Alice is a double created by her and is the vision of her “Ideal” self. Her actual personality is a bit pessimistic. Anyway, the point is that Tooru technically fell in love with Alice making a relatively confusing and complicated Relationship.

If there are 2 Alices, I'll be cheering for this one ;D |
No matter how much Alice loves Tooru, she couldn't deny the fact that she's just ... let's say Illusion that exists in the dream world. She's aware that she can never be with Tooru. So after their 4th H-Scene, Alice left Tooru, and she's never going to appear before him again.
Tooru couldn't just accept it. He didn't know that Alice is just ... a Fake. But nevertheless decided to pursue her so that he could listen to why Alice rejected him. But dream world isn't as nice as you think it is. It prevented Tooru to go to where Alice is. So Tooru called Maia and decided to Team up.
Tooru finally caught up with Alice. Well, Skipping the Developments. Alice told Tooru the truth, how she's just an Illusion and a Fake that only exist in the Dream World. She can never be together with Tooru.
Tooru cried, accepted how Cruel their Fate is. Because Alice's wish is for Tooru to have fun and forget about her.

S-She won't disappear right? |
|
G-Good bye Tooru ;__; |
Tooru and the other heroines finally woke up, went to school and found someone
|
You can see Alice's eye color in her left eye |
She's confused as to why cried when she saw Tooru, I guess some of Alice's memories are with her. I don't know why the sudden Heterochromia though. It really doesn't make much sense. But with this, we get the best of both the dream world and reality. Still, I'M NOT OKAY WITH THIS.
I know the story ended perfectly fine. I sort of want to see what happened next, but it's nothing special for the story to end after the main problems are solved. So it's like picturing that they lived happily ever after and leave it at that. That's what I hate about it because Tooru was never with Alice. :/
Ehh I thought you like tragic love...
I don't mind the protagonist dying though ;D
Overall, it's really good. Premise of the story was well-thought. The True Route is strong, plus the characters specially the heroines were likable. Good in their graphics and music Department.
TL;DR:
Playing this VN makes me want to experience Lucid Dreaming one day. The Things you can do in a Dream~
